Rumor has it that a September Radioshack ad has been leaked with the Xbox Arcade selling for $200. The ad which can be seen here had a release date of September 7th. This will mean very strong competition for the Wii and should drive sales of the Xbox much higher.

Nintendo continues to sell the Wii at a fast pace. Nintendo annouced that they had sold 555,000 units in July accounting for 49% of all U.S console sales. It’s popularity continues to grow as more people become addicted to the Wii’s interactivity.

Newsarama has information from LucasArts about Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels. The game will be released during the holiday season. The biggest feature of this game will be the wiimote controlled LightSaber. The game itself will take place during the clone wars era which mean we won’t see Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.

Matt Peckham from PC World makes a good argument as to why the Wii scores lower than the XBox and PS3. His argument is that the games for the other two systems are better than the Wii games. He may have a point considering that although the Wii sells more units then the other two, Microsoft sells more software. Its an interesting read so check it out.
